ROTARY DIE / PRINTING PLATE STORAGE

Product description

Compared to the single rack F-type storage, the double rack T-type manual rotary die storage with printing plates has an increased capacity of 100%, while the storage space requirements only grow by 50%. The rotary dies can be delivered into the trolleys in more locations, as this T-type crane can rotate 360 degrees.

The storage structure is built mainly from galvanized steel. The crane and the crane rails are a combination of aluminum, galvanized steel and powder-coated steel. The monitor has a camera to support the operator while operating the crane to pick up dies or returning them to the shelves.  

The operator can move the crane manually and at the same time drive the sleigh with the rotary die gripper up and down in a vertical direction. This is time-saving, making operation of the crane efficient, especially with high storages.

The bcm PrimeStorage RP2, T-type contains rotary dies and printing plates, where printing plates are all placed at the bottom level of the storage. This storage is suitable for either single rotary dies or double dies on the shelves. Customers can choose what they prefer in almost all cases, though we do suggest that the small rotary dies are arranged in our manual vertical hanging storage. The trolleys for the storage are on wheels and designed to contain 4 single rotary dies or 3 sets of double rotary dies as standard. The printing plates have their own trolleys, which can be brought next to the rack and then printing plates directly dragged directly from the rack to the trolley.

The trolleys are easy to handle and push by one person. When entering the storage area to pick up the rotary dies, the operator only needs to bring the trolley with them, thereby reducing the moving time of the crane significantly.

While the operator is working in the storage, nobody else should be in the aisle due to safety reasons.
